About the position

As the VP of Strategy & Media Planning, you will be the driving force behind our market teams, overseeing the integration of strategic media planning across multiple markets while ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Reporting to main internal executives and senior leadership, you will set the vision for how media strategy fuels brand and business growth, advocating for innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and best-in-class partnerships and media activations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the agency's in market/global media strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth goals and brand vision.
  • Oversee multi-market teams, promoting a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Guide agency thought leadership, shaping industry conversations around the future of media, digital transformation, and AI-driven marketing solutions.
  • Be an executive sponsor for main clients, partnering with C-suite stakeholders to align media investments with business objectives.
  • Lead pitches and guide multi-market business development efforts, partnering with the agency's Growth teams.
  • Develop and expand strategic client relationships, identifying opportunities for deeper engagement and commercial success.
  • Champion a value-driven approach to media, ensuring our solutions directly contribute to measurable business growth for clients.
  • Guide seamless integration across media, content, and creative strategies—ensuring a unified, data-driven approach across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Lead the adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics tools (e.g., MMM, cloud-based solutions) to enhance media planning and measurement.
  • Enhance the agency's approach to media effectiveness, developing frameworks that improve decision-making across markets.
  • Partner with company partners to shape the future of media strategy, ensuring teams remain at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Champion diversity of thought and cross-disciplinary collaboration, ensuring teams work cohesively to create best-in-class solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in media strategy, planning, and digital transformation within an agency or enterprise brand.
  • A bold, future-focused mindset, always pushing for new ideas, innovative solutions, and commercial impact.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management experience, including mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and present strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced analytics, AI-driven solutions, MMM, and measurement frameworks to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing brand, digital marketing, and planning strategies, with a fluency in digital media planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing cohesive presentation narratives, from pitches to client presentations, and effective communication skills.
  • Has high personal standards and promotes them in others.
