The Vice President of Marketing for North America Food & Nutrition at Mars is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the Ben's Original and Seeds of Change brand portfolio. This position entails leading a comprehensive marketing organization that includes brand management, shopper marketing, and digital marketing/dCommerce. The primary focus of the role is to develop and implement strategic value creation strategies and go-to-market plans that align with the company's objectives. The VP of Marketing will be tasked with owning the marketing plan development and execution, creating an innovation masterplan in collaboration with the R&D and innovation teams, and driving omnichannel transformation across shopper marketing and digital commerce. This role also involves engaging and leading a team of 6 direct reports and 7 indirect reports, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with the Canadian market to maximize synergies and scale activities. In addition to these responsibilities, the VP of Marketing will be accountable for building new capabilities for the "Seed Quadrant" insurgent brands, which includes developing an alternate demand model and enhancing digital commerce strategies. The successful candidate will be expected to accelerate the growth of the scale brand, Ben's Original, while also being an integral part of the Food NA leadership team, reporting directly to the Food NA Regional President. Strong people leadership and enterprise leadership skills are essential, as the candidate will need to embody Mars' 5 Principles and set a clear vision for associates and the product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand management, innovation, and shopper marketing, demonstrating success across various businesses and categories. They should be a results-oriented strategic leader capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels.
