About The Position

The VP of Logistics at Danone North America is responsible for leading the integrated logistics capability, focusing on strategy and execution to enhance service quality, efficiency, and safety. This role involves developing operating plans, managing logistics spend, and ensuring effective transportation, distribution, and fulfillment operations. The VP will also be accountable for talent management and continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of related Logistics experience, ideally within Consumer Products.
  • Deep supply chain knowledge with strong proficiency in supply chain management, including inventory control, transportation, and distribution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic experience to optimize supply chains and drive efficiencies.
  • Experience in developing and managing interpersonal relationships to influence senior leadership decisions.
  • Experience negotiating change and compromise with multiple levels of stakeholders across Operations.
  • Previous knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integrated Logistics capability for Danone US, including all strategy and execution.
  • Develop operating plans with a focus on service while driving continuous improvement and productivity in Logistics operations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and build a strategic framework to support long-term growth ambitions.
  • Oversee all Logistics spend across Transportation, Distribution, and Fulfillment.
  • Accountable for Transportation execution, Distribution operations, and Fulfillment design, strategy, and automation.
  • Implement and refine processes, KPIs, and scorecards to drive functional accountability and deliver results.
  • Balance cost and service to meet Customer and Consumer expectations.
  • Own Talent Management and development within the logistics function.
