About The Position

We are looking for a highly qualified Director of Legal to oversee the legal aspects of our business. Serve as the primary legal advisor, providing hands-on support across departments. Lead and manage all legal matters, including corporate, commercial, labor, IP, and privacy. Oversee and coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions. Act as a key advisor to the executive team, influencing company strategy and decision-making. Assist in establishing internal governance policies and monitor compliance regularly. Report directly to the CFO, contributing to the company's growth and compliance objectives.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active bar membership
  • Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, preferably in the SaaS industry, including drafting channel partner agreements (distribution, resale, MSP, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial law and data privacy regulations
  • Experience in corporate law, including cap table and ESOP management, funding rounds, M&As
  • Proven ability to manage external legal counsel globally
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align legal strategies with company objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's legal strategy in alignment with business goals
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with customers, partners and vendors
  • Ensure global compliance with data privacy laws and employment regulations
  • Manage legal aspects of employment matters across global offices
  • Manage the cap table and ESOP tracker
