This leader oversees procurement, supplier management, manufacturing partnerships, demand planning, logistics, distribution, and inventory management. This role drives operational efficiency, cost optimization, and service reliability across the entire supply chain—from supplier sourcing through final delivery to installation teams. The VP partners closely with Operations, Finance, Product, and Field Leadership to align supply chain capabilities with business demand, customer commitments, and margin objectives.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, planning, and distribution.
  • Experience in supporting multi-location field operations or installation-based service businesses strongly preferred.
  • Track record of improving supply chain efficiency, cost structure, and service reliability at scale.
  • Strong executive leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing supply chain systems and analytics to support operational decision-making.
  • Experience leading supply organizations supporting $500m + in annual revenue.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and operating in a structured SIOP process, driving enterprise-wide working capital improvements through inventory strategy and demand planning discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in direct-to-consumer or vertically integrated product and service organizations
  • Background in high-growth, multi-market organizations.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business.
  • Experience leading in a structured Product Management environment, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated supply chain strategy that supports national growth and operational scalability.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams across procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and supplier management.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting cadence, and operational governance to ensure supply chain performance aligns with company targets for cost, service, and speed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase supply chain agility and resilience.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and supply reliability.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with key manufacturing and component partners.
  • Implement supplier performance metrics and accountability programs.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives including value engineering and contract renegotiation.
  • Implement forecasting and demand planning processes aligned with sales projections and installation capacity.
  • Optimize inventory levels across warehouses, markets, and field operations to balance service levels with working capital efficiency.
  • Oversee national logistics and distribution operations, including inbound freight, warehousing, and last-mile delivery to field offices.
  • Optimize distribution networks and transportation strategies to improve service speed and reduce freight costs.
  • Ensure materials flow efficiently from suppliers through distribution centers to field teams.
  • Partner with Field Operations and Installation teams to ensure materials and components support installation productivity and customer timelines.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage cost structures, margin improvement, and supply chain P&L impact.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to align supply chain capabilities with new product development and launches.
  • Drive modernization of supply chain systems, data, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices in forecasting, inventory management, and logistics planning.
