RadiFi Credit Union is seeking an experienced VP of Information Systems to assure delivery of quality enabling business systems, information management and processing services, branching network, and technology infrastructure for Credit Union's internal users and members. Works with executives and line of business managers to identify systems, technology and processes to improve Credit Union services, operations, support and efficiency. Responsible for direction and control of the Credit Union's information systems, security, and technology activities.

  • Provides leadership across the Credit Union in all matters involving technology and information.
  • Directs the administration of the Information Systems, including budgeting, performance monitoring, reporting, planning, priority setting, coaching and staff management/development.
  • Develops and maintains effective and productive working relationships with direct reports, user departments, senior managers, and vendors.
  • Oversee work in-take, assignment, quality assurance and fulfillment among the IS team.
  • Research, develop and implement long-range strategic plans to address the evolving and enabling business systems, technology infrastructure, information management and data processing needs of the Credit Union and its members.
  • Direct and monitor all hardware and software conversion, branch expansions, development, and enhancement projects.
  • Evaluate and implement enhancements to the Credit Union’s array of business systems, ATM network, IVR system, imaging system, TCR systems & network infrastructure.
  • Actively participate in Credit Union Information Security Committee, Project Steering Committee and ad hoc project committees.
  • Responsible for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning for the Credit Union.
  • Manages directly or indirectly all technology, information and data processing vendors and prescribes good vendor management practices for all key vendor relationships.
  • Consults with other business leaders on vendor selection, due diligence, contracting and service level agreements.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all credit union-wide policies.
  • To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job; participating in appropriate training activities and required classes when assigned.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
  • Ten to fifteen years of experience in an Information Systems/Information Technology role.
  • At least five years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing an Information Systems team.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within a credit union or financial institution.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent certifications or substantial job-specific skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of hardware systems, system software, networks, and application software.
  • Technical planning, project management and supervisory experience.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work and travel independently.
  • Previous financial institution and or core banking software experience.
  • Excellent resource project planning and communication skills.
