MxD is a non-profit public-private partnership dedicated to digitally transforming and securing U.S. manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced leader in relationship management, strategic engagement, and business development to fill the role of Vice President of Industry Engagement. This key position, which reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is part of the senior leadership team, is responsible for effectively communicating and supporting delivery of MxD’s value proposition to its members and broader stakeholders. The Vice President of Industry Engagement will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with members and strategic partners, which will have a significant impact on the US industrial base. In this role, the Vice President will oversee the industry engagement, member recruitment and retention, and MxD event programming, collaborating with department leaders to implement strategies that provide measurable value for members, attract new members, and enhance MxD’s national presence, and overall impact. They should possess a deep understanding of developing and managing stakeholder relationships within an organization. Relevant professional experience at the enterprise level in ecosystem development, strategic consulting, enterprise sales, or customer relations/partner engagement management is essential for success in this role. As a national manufacturing institute, MxD is at the forefront of the latest advancements in manufacturing technology. This position provides a hands-on, results-oriented, self-starter the chance to oversee and grow a robust external engagement strategy. You will play a vital role in attracting and retaining top-tier industry members, thereby establishing a lasting platform for MxD’s impact across the American industrial base.
