About The Position

This leadership position will oversee the global HR technology suite and play a key role in our growth story. As the people organization evolves, technology is at the forefront and the Vice President partners with our HR functional team and owns the design, development, and implementation of HR technology that enables growth and scalability for the business. This role requires a strategic mindset and deep understanding of HR systems and environments combined with diverse experience translating user requirements into practical technology solutions and experiences within a large, multi-site, global organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in HR Technologies
  • 5+ years validated experience as a Product Owner in the HR Tech space.
  • Experience leading a team within an HRIT or HRIS function or alternatively as a leader of Product Managers
  • Workday experience required.
  • Proven experience leading complex and/or large-scale, global projects with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams across various areas simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of global data privacy laws.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and manage key stakeholders as the strategic partner to stimulate, surface, and shape demand for technology and automation solutions resulting in a realistic, relevant roadmap.
  • Perform regular business process reviews, reviewing improvement lists, making ongoing suggestions, and building plans to put into action.
  • Develop and implement short/long term strategies for HR systems, automation, reporting/analytics, and end-user experience across corporate, businesses and regions.
  • Foster a high-performance environment with a culture of accountability that ensures delivery of timely, impactful solutions and services.
  • Plan for needed resources, direct and indirect team structures and funding.
  • Lead or direct complex and high priority projects; own and/or contribute to project development and scoping including obtaining key partner agreement, developing requirements, building/testing, go live, and conducting post-mortem feedback improvements.
  • Balance vendor relationships as an extension of the team.
  • Partner with the HR business partners across regions to extend global solutions or develop alternate in-region capabilities.
  • Direct system upgrades, integrations, and migrations.
  • Contribute to compliance efforts through SOX, Corporate Audits, internal/external audits, and Privacy (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Manage sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional team members with competing priorities.
  • Facilitate all recurring governance and project status meetings.
  • Own and judiciously manage capital investment and operational expenses of HRIS function.
