About The Position

We are currently looking for a VP, Head of Data Solutions in United States. We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to drive enterprise data solutions across complex, multi-cloud environments. This role oversees the design, architecture, and implementation of modern data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses, while ensuring governance, security, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, pre-sales teams, and engineering groups to translate requirements into high-impact solutions. The position offers significant influence over technical direction, leadership of a data practice, and opportunities to work across diverse industries and cloud technologies. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and excel in mentoring and shaping high-performing teams. Flexibility and up to 50% travel within the U.S. are expected.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or related roles, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect and 3+ years leading a data practice.
  • Strong expertise with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Hands-on experience implementing 2–3 enterprise data lake projects using leading cloud/data technologies.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT pipelines, batch and streaming architectures, SQL, Python, PySpark, Scala, and Spark tuning.
  • Deep knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, IAM, RBAC, encryption, PII handling, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks Lakehouse solutions, and hybrid/multi-cloud data environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain enterprise data architecture, including models, integration patterns, and data flows.
  • Design modern cloud and hybrid data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses) and oversee implementation.
  • Lead end-to-end solution delivery for ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, streaming data, and analytics workloads.
  • Ensure data solutions meet security, compliance, scalability, and availability requirements.
  • Guide data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata management practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, supporting pre-sales, consulting, and delivery teams.
  • Mentor and develop data engineers, architects, and analysts, fostering best practices across teams.
