About The Position

Dermstore is looking for a results driven leader to drive brand growth and new customer acquisition through paid media channels. This individual will be responsible for developing a vision, strategy and executing performance-based growth marketing plans, including the oversight of a multi-million dollar paid media budget. This team leader will implement a full funnel measurement plan to balance short term and long term KPIs and ensure channel activation plans are delivering on revenue and consumer growth. The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with an ability to juggle multiple KPIs and translate business objectives into tactical plans, actioning against them to drive results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading paid digital media and/or growth/performance marketing.
  • Experience working with large budgets across all media types (national, local, digital, social, search, OOH, TV/STV, programmatic, etc.).
  • Deep understanding and proven track record of managing acquisition campaigns, strategies, and benchmarks.
  • Advanced understanding of direct response metrics and ability to measure program/campaign ROI across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and other platforms specific to customer acquisition.
  • Knowledge of AdTech and MarTech tools and capabilities. Experience working with Live Ramp and scaling 1P data activation.
  • Growth mindset, with a bias toward change.
  • Highly collaborative and able to build cross functional partnerships with data, creative, brand and site merch teams.
  • Digital marketing expert, specific to emerging consumer and media trends.
  • Ability to proactively engage with external partners and stay on the pulse of new trends and platforms to inform future engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams that attract top talent. Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Retailer and/or D2C experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive innovative growth and paid media strategies to meet revenue and consumer targets, with a focus on incremental, sustainable, efficient growth.
  • Oversee channel roadmap, optimization and expansion.
  • Oversee inbound website traffic (SEM, SEO) and Paid Media (Social, CTV and all paid media investments) and Affiliate for the brand.
  • Scale and optimize investment, focusing on acquiring new customers while achieving efficiency (LTV/CAC and ROAS) goals.
  • Build, monitor, and own paid media KPI reporting on actual, budgeted and forecasted spend and return projections on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Use paid investment measurement and analysis to inform decision-making and results.
  • Utilize measurement and attribution modeling (MMM, MTA, Brand Health Study) to gain insights into effectiveness of digital marketing.
  • Own brief and content development with creative team to optimize ad performance and drive brand image.
  • Manage relationships with Central UK team and external media partners.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of digital media marketers, establishing concrete goals and targets.
