About The Position

Responsible for new business development, portfolio management, and overall relationship management of large corporate depositors, including administration of banking service relationships to public funds, large corporations, colleges and universities, and institutional clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a banking/financial services business/government/institutional development and/or portfolio management role, required.
  • 3+ years of work experience in selling and servicing GIB clients, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generates and closes outside sales of the Bank’s government and institutional deposit services.
  • Collaborates with other staff and senior management to generate revenue and grow deposits.
  • Calls actively on prospects and existing customers to maintain and grow relationships as well as develop a pipeline of potential new business.
  • Coordinates with a variety of internal and external stakeholders as a key liaison.
  • Identifies and corrects matters of significance to the customer, prospect, and the Bank as they relate to the sale, implementation, and use of the Bank’s deposit services.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to Bank employees concerning the proper creation, implementation, and execution of deposits for government and institutional clients.
  • Leads client meetings, as necessary.
  • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
  • Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in performance of essential job functions.
  • Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
