The Head of Global Total Rewards at Yahoo will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's compensation and benefits strategies on a global scale. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this position is responsible for leading a global team and collaborating closely with senior executives at Yahoo and Apollo to develop and implement comprehensive Total Rewards programs that align with Yahoo's business strategies. The successful candidate will adopt a hands-on approach, ensuring that the Total Rewards strategy is not only innovative but also responsive to market demands and competitive in nature. In this role, the Head of Global Total Rewards will engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including the Yahoo executive team and Apollo partners, to gain alignment on strategic approaches. This involves designing programs that are proactive and strategically aligned with the overall business objectives. The individual will drive innovative global compensation strategies that are scalable and impactful, ensuring that Yahoo remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent. The position also requires providing expert consulting and thought leadership in all areas of reward and recognition. This includes generating strategies that meet the demands of a competitive marketplace while ensuring fair and equitable pay. The Head of Global Total Rewards will develop key cross-functional partnerships within the People Team and across the organization, including Finance, Legal, and Communications, to foster collaboration and drive team connection. Additionally, the role involves leading the requirements setting for global compensation benchmarking and related analytics, owning reporting requirements for compensation-related insights, and leading the job architecture project to modernize legacy job families and compensation ranges. The individual will also be responsible for leading the design and execution of company-wide annual compensation processes, contributing to the People Team Leadership, and managing a global Total Rewards team of approximately 30 FTEs, including senior subject matter experts in various compensation areas.
