We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic VP, Architecture & Technology to join our team in Coppell. In this role, you will play a critical part in the technical delivery capability within Brinks Company including Architecture, Data Management, Data Science, Analytics Management and IT Innovation contributing to our ongoing success and strategic goals.

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework aligned with the overall objectives of the Brinks BBS Strategy, Global IT and Digital Strategy.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps highlighting how the overall objectives of the Brinks Company will be reached.
  • Design the solution architecture to achieve each step of the technology roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain an architecture rule book defining architecture standards.
  • Support the Head of Infrastructure and Information Security & Compliance Leader with their specific architectural requirements.
  • Lead a team of senior architects, software engineers, and data engineers.
  • Facilitate a transition to DevOps for selected products.
  • Collaborate with various VPs and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the architecture rule book.
  • Identify future technology and digital trends to deliver best in class customer experiences.
  • Own the Technology Strategy and data and analytics strategy and architecture roadmap.
  • Develop the Business Architecture by positioning the EA practice at the intersection of business and IT.
  • Work with business architects and leaders to identify key drivers and targeted business outcomes.
  • Develop diagnostic and action-oriented deliverables to guide investment decisions.
  • Lead analysis of the business' future-state capabilities and IT environment to detect gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Identify organizational requirements for resources, structures, and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise architecture.
  • Facilitate business and IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution.
  • Construct technology-enabled business and operating models.
  • Maintain alignment, integration, and coordination of architecture activities across different programs.
  • Present gap analyses and IT investment roadmaps reflecting the status of the existing IT landscape.
  • Lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and apply minimal viable architectures through the EA governance model.
  • Facilitate a collaborative relationship across architecture community, product management, and delivery teams.
  • Collect, analyze, review, and refine innovations, trends, disruptions, opportunities, or ideas.
  • Assess disruptive forces affecting the organization and identify technology-enabled innovation opportunities.
  • Develop a data sourcing strategy considering both internal and external sources of data.
  • Oversee the design and development of data & analytics management infrastructure.
  • Lead the development and enforcement of policies and guidelines for data & analytics management.
  • Create a data science Centre of Excellence and analytics COE.
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Eight or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis or experience as an enterprise architecture consultant.
  • 8+ years of experience in at least three disciplines such as business, information, solutions, technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment.
