About The Position

The VP Enterprise Data Platform will own the platform strategy for the core portfolio of enterprise data platforms. This will ensure the smooth delivery of data operations and consistent improvement of processes and methodologies to store and maintain data. This leader will maximize the deployment of short-and-long-term technological innovations, specifically cloud technologies, to create a centralized operational data structure hub built on standard practices of interaction and uniformity to serve the entire enterprise data foundation and support each individual platform. The VP will interact with and influence senior leaders in the company, up to and including the Chief Operating Officer and business unit CEOs.

Requirements

• 7 years of management or leadership role.
• 7 years leading data engagements directly with internal and commercial clients.

• Experience managing complex initiatives in the consulting, healthcare, or insurance industry.
• Track record of driving transformational change, leading teams, developing talent, and building relationships.
• Experience running profit and loss center.
• Understanding of Agile Development techniques and tools.
• Experience in massively scaled consumer-centric data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Perform management responsibilities including hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department.
• Develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
• Own the development and deployment of the Enterprise Data Platform cloud roadmap.
• Deliver flexible, high-quality platform infrastructure and operational solutions that adhere to privacy policies, mandates and regulations.
• Continuously improve platform processes and technology in line with time parameters and budget expectations.
• Focus on cloud technologies while mitigating legacy on-prem data infrastructure.
• Other duties as assigned.
