Digital Products & Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. The Novant Health Vice President of Enterprise Architecture is a strategic leader that gathers and articulates architectural vision, and aids in the development of a strategic plan for realizing it. Additionally, the VP Enterprise Architecture guides the Novant Health architecture community toward a deep understanding of the structure of the Novant Health digital estate, its components, their relationships, and the principles that guide their design and evolution over time. This is a senior DPS leadership role responsible for leading the enterprise architecture practice within the organization. The VP will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with healthcare objectives, technological advancements, and industry best practices. To achieve the architecture vision, the VP supervises the enterprise architecture community in a combined direct and matrixed structure, develops architecture principles, oversees governance and lifecycle of architecturally significant requirements, manages the processes by which architects engage and make decisions, and defines the essential elements of an architecture repository. The VP acts as a key resource to our DPS senior leadership team, product managers, Value Stream Owners, and domain/solution architects.
