This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite in Brentwood, TN. The Vice President, Enterprise Architecture and Technology Innovation develops and executes the architectural strategy for new business initiatives, while concurrently driving the modernization of the organization’s internal IT landscape. Bridges the gap between high-scale product engineering and disciplined corporate governance, ensuring new technology assets are innovative while core operations remain resilient and compliant. Ensures the reliability and security of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property, and is accountable for the delivery of IT infrastructure and operational support in a 24/7 environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or an MBA with a technical focus is required.
  • 15+ years of experience building and leading an enterprise architecture discipline and team, including five years in a senior level role is required.
  • Proven experience identifying and delivering technology products at scale.
  • Experience operating within the constraints of a public company (i.e. compliance and quarterly reporting) is required.
  • Demonstrated SaaS expertise with a proven track record of launching and scaling B2B or B2C SaaS platforms.
  • Technical Breadth with mastery of Cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, and Data Mesh architectures.
  • Experience in driving agile and product-centric mindsets within traditional IT organizations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills required, with the ability to clearly convey complex architectural trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads new product strategy and design product blueprinting to define the multi-tenant, cloud-native architecture for our new SaaS offerings, prioritizing scalability, security, and global availability.
  • Evaluates and selects modern frameworks (Microservices, Serverless, AI/ML integration) that provide a competitive edge.
  • Establishes a robust API strategy to facilitate third-party integrations and ecosystem growth with an API-First Philosophy.
  • Acts as a pragmatic visionary, defining bold innovative IT and product strategies while ensuring practical execution, balancing rapid delivery of new SaaS offerings with operational stability, security, and compliance across core enterprise systems.
  • Creates the bridge between the new SaaS platform and existing ERP, CRM, and financial systems focused on IT modernization and legacy integration.
  • Oversees the optimization and transition from traditional data centers to a hybrid or multi-cloud environment, ensuring infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
  • Leads the enterprise data strategy and data governance initiatives to ensure one version of truth across product usage metrics and corporate financial reporting.
  • Works with executive leadership on the strategic roadmap to align the three-to-five-year technology roadmap as guided by the Board of Directors’ business objectives.
  • Manages the CAPEX/OPEX for enterprise-wide technology investments, ensuring high return on investment.
  • Creates and leads an enterprise architecture discipline, deliverables, and team.
  • Ensures all architectures meet SOX, GDPR, and industry-specific compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
  • Domestic U. S. travel may be required.
