We are seeking strong developers experienced with trading, operations, and/or analytics systems for residential whole loans and/or residential mortgage-backed securities [RMBS]. This role will be instrumental in developing the technology architecture and implementation of a new Residential Mortgage Whole Loan trading business build-out.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science
  • 5 - 7 years' experience programming in Python and Java
  • Experience with securitized products analytics systems such as Yieldbook, Polypaths, and Intex
  • Experience with LMS (Loan Management) systems such as mTrade, SitusAMC Centricity, SBO.net, or similar
  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • Graduate degree, preferred
  • 7 - 10 years related experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently
  • Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of the business, enterprise technology areas and/or the organization
  • Key subject matter expert who consults with and may lead clients and/or project teams on multiple aspects of development issues
  • Works as the senior or lead developer and coaches/guides team members within area of expertise
  • Resolves highly complex and multifaceted development related problems
  • Manages multiple teams and/or projects with increasing degree of complexity and broad scope
  • Orchestrates the development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement
