CPC Climate Capital is a new subsidiary within The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) and a sub-award partner of Climate United Fund. The organization is focused on deploying approximately $2.5 billion in Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GGRF) funds through the CPC Climate Capital Multifamily Decarbonization Strategy. This role is critical in administering a portion of the awarded GGRF funds on behalf of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide subordinate debt financing to owners of multifamily housing across the nation. The aim is to reduce or eliminate on-site fossil fuels, thereby significantly lowering greenhouse gas emissions while also addressing other national priorities such as the creation and preservation of affordable housing, promoting equity and environmental justice, and supporting high-quality jobs. The Director of Program Compliance will lead the development, execution, and oversight of a comprehensive compliance program for federal grant initiatives. Reporting directly to the SVP, Head of Operations and Finance, this position is pivotal in ensuring adherence to programmatic requirements and statutory obligations, safeguarding the integrity of grant-funded projects. The role involves implementing a compliance framework that addresses programmatic and statutory requirements, managing relationships with third-party consulting firms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance measures into program management processes. Regular assessments of program compliance controls will be conducted to identify areas for enhancement, and the Director will stay updated on changes in federal regulations and grant requirements to adapt compliance strategies accordingly. Cultivating a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization is also a key responsibility, promoting awareness and understanding of compliance obligations among staff members.
