About The Position

The Vice President of Digital HR serves as a transformational leader, driving the modernization and integration of Navy Federal’s Human Resources data, systems, and analytics capabilities. This role provides strategic vision and thought leadership on how data, skills intelligence, AI, and technology enable the organization’s enterprise and human capital strategies—both for today and the future of work. The VP will lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives to strengthen HR’s digital ecosystem, enhance workforce insights, and elevate employee experience across the full talent lifecycle. Through innovation, collaboration, and disciplined execution, this leader will advance Navy Federal’s position as a data-driven, people-centered organization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration , Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level HR technology and analytics transformation initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in HR systems, AI/ML applications, data management, and workforce analytics.
  • Demonstrated success leading through complexity and scale, developing teams, and driving enterprise adoption.
  • Strong business acumen, connecting HR technology outcomes to organizational strategy and measurable performance.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-graduate degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, SPHR, or equivalent HR technology credentials.
  • Familiarity with Navy Federal’s functions, philosophy, and enterprise transformation roadmap.
  • Experience deploying AI-enabled HR technologies or skills intelligence platforms at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Strategy & Innovation Provide thought leadership on data, skills, analytics, AI, and systems that enable enterprise workforce strategies and business agility.
  • Shape and execute the long-term HR technology and analytics roadmap aligned to enterprise digital transformation goals.
  • Leverage AI and advanced machine learning to create new capabilities, drive predictive insights, and enhance talent and operational efficiencies.
  • Continuously assess technology gaps and opportunities to modernize the HR ecosystem and support future workforce readiness.
  • Transformation & Change Leadership Lead large-scale, enterprise HR initiatives that optimize end-to-end experiences across the full employee life cycle and drive measurable organizational outcomes.
  • Design and implement change management frameworks that enable the adoption and sustainment of new tools, processes, and mindsets.
  • Enable enterprise-wide skills visibility and workforce intelligence to inform strategic workforce planning, learning, and internal mobility.
  • Operational Excellence & Governance Oversee HR data strategy, analytics, and reporting to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
  • Partner with Enterprise Technology teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and system performance.
  • Establish robust data governance and privacy protocols that foster trust among members and employees.
  • Leadership & Collaboration Lead at scale through others by inspiring, developing, and upskilling high-performing teams across analytics, systems, and process improvement disciplines.
  • Serve as an enterprise collaborator and strategic advisor, influencing decisions through data-driven insight and organizational perspective.
  • Act as a proponent of finding innovative, practical solutions that overcome barriers and enable business outcomes.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders, achieving win-win solutions that advance enterprise goals.
