About The Position

The Vice President, Data Cloud will lead the vision, strategy, and execution to build and scale OpenText's Data Cloud. This leader will own the end-to-end product lifecycle - from vision to adoption, with a relentless focus on execution, innovation, and customer impact. The Data Cloud will unify structured and unstructured data, unlock the potential of enterprise content, and enable the creation of an enterprise knowledge graph that enhances AI accuracy, reduces hallucinations, and powers next-generation intelligent experiences.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise software, cloud platforms, or data management, with a strong background in product leadership.
• Deep expertise in data management, AI/ML, knowledge graphs, and modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Fabric, etc.).
• Deep understanding of unstructured data management and its role in AI model grounding and hallucination reduction.
• Proven track record of building and scaling data platforms or products from the ground up.
• Proven success in leading global product & engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale SaaS solutions.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making.
• Outcome-driven leader with a hands-on approach, translating strategy into execution and delivering measurable, high-impact business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead with accountability, act as a founder within OpenText, and drive relentless execution to deliver results.
• Lead the strategy and roadmap for OpenText Data Cloud, aligning with corporate objectives and customer needs.
• Build a trusted data cloud that connects structured and unstructured data across OpenText and external ecosystems.
• Design and deliver an enterprise-grade knowledge graph that connects people, processes, and content.
• Integrate AI-driven insights, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and data architecture principles.
• Partner with business units to deliver curated data products with full business context, semantics, and governance.
• Enable seamless data discovery, sharing, governance, and modeling.
• Engage directly with customers, analysts, and partners to define OpenText's position in the evolving data and AI ecosystem.
• Drive collaborations with cloud and data providers, AI providers, and other technology partners.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in all aspects of platform delivery.
