About The Position
OneMain Financial is seeking a Vice President, Director for Release Engineering with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems spanning both the public and private cloud and who thrives on working with a diverse set of partners and can articulate the business impact of a problem and can also dive deep into the technical solution. OneMain’s products span AWS, IBM iSeries and zSeries (for our core lending systems) and a large footprint in AWS. The Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer is an impactful role under OMF’s Productivity Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will not only be able to design and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure, but also mentor junior DevOps engineers, collaborate with development teams, monitor and optimize system performance, stay abreast of emerging technologies, foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, ensure security best practices, and collaborate with operation on incident response.
