Scope of Position This strategic and results-driven leader, as part of the Information Technology organization, will be responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for Watts’ customer and commercial technology platforms. This role drives the simplification, integration, and performance of a complex commercial systems landscape to enable improved customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalable revenue growth. This position is responsible for supervision of global technology and platform team members. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer. This role is remote and may require travel as needed based on business demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications with a strong focus on commercial platforms
  • Deep experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), CPQ/pricing solutions, and digital commerce platforms
  • Proven experience leading global platform strategy, consolidation, and transformation initiatives
  • Experience integrating commercial platforms with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Strong leadership experience managing and developing global teams
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-ERP and multi-system environments
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including criminal background check and other required pre-employment testing

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in industrial or B2B environments
  • Experience with SAP CPQ, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, and SAP MDG
  • Strong background in digital transformation and customer experience platforms
  • Experience implementing product-based operating models within technology organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to align technology strategy with commercial growth objectives

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial platform ecosystem, including CRM, CPQ and pricing, digital commerce, customer portals, customer service platforms, and integration layers
  • Define and execute a global commercial platform strategy aligned with business and technology priorities
  • Rationalize and consolidate fragmented systems, including multiple CRM instances, into a unified and scalable architecture
  • Ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and broader enterprise systems, including Project RIO initiatives
  • Support SAP deployments by ensuring customer-facing systems and teams are fully prepared and enabled
  • Expand digital and self-service capabilities to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Establish and maintain strong data governance practices aligned with enterprise standards
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, product-oriented global team
  • Drive execution through clearly defined roadmaps, priorities, and accountability frameworks
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to align technology solutions with business needs
  • Lead decision-making in complex, multi-system environments and drive clarity in ambiguous situations
  • Balance business outcomes with technical rigor to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions
  • Promote a platform-first mindset, focusing on long-term capability over point solutions
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer or Company management
