About The Position

The Vice President, Corporate FP&A and Consolidated Reporting is a senior enterprise finance leader responsible for the end-to-end ownership of Campbell’s corporate financial planning, management reporting, and consolidated financial performance narrative. This role serves as a key strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team, providing enterprise-wide financial insight, forward looking analysis, and governance to support value creation, capital allocation and external stakeholder confidence. This position has primary accountability for monthly and quarterly management consolidation and reporting, enterprise projections and performance metrics, Board and executive materials, and alignment between internal management reporting and external financial disclosures. The VP plays a critical leadership role in ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, maintaining the integrity, transparency, and credibility of Campbell’s financial results and outlook. The role leads a high-performing Corporate FP&A and Reporting organization (11 team members, including 3 direct reports), with a strong emphasis on talent development, succession planning, and modernization of reporting, analytics, and data visualization capabilities. This position partners closely with Divisional CFOs, the Corporate Controller, Investor Relations, External Reporting, and Public Affairs, and is deeply involved in the quarterly earnings and investor communication process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within a large, complex CPG or branded consumer organization.
  • 10+ years in senior finance leadership roles with enterprise-wide or multi-business accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience leading consolidated FP&A, external reporting support, and executive-level financial communications.
  • Requires deep expertise in financial statements, enterprise consolidation, US GAAP, and SEC reporting, with the ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and high visibility.
  • Strategic business partner and enterprise thought leader with strong analytical and financial storytelling skills.
  • Ability to operate seamlessly between strategy and execution, setting vision while ensuring disciplined delivery.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational and strategic drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Financial Consolidation, Reporting & Performance Management
  • Own enterprise-wide management consolidation and reporting for a ~$8B consumer packaged goods organization.
  • Lead analysis of actual results versus plan, forecast, and prior year, including assessment of divisional performance and outlook.
  • Identify, assess, and actively manage enterprise risks and opportunities to deliver sales, earnings, and cash commitments.
  • Provide executive-level insight, judgment, and recommendations to the CFO and CEO based on performance trends and forward outlook.
  • Oversee development of executive and Board reporting packages, including Monthly Business Reviews and leadership materials.
  • Lead enterprise tracking and reporting of key performance metrics, incentive measures, and cost savings initiatives.
  • External Reporting & Investor Support
  • Lead development of quarterly earnings releases and consolidated external financial materials.
  • Oversee preparation of CEO/CFO materials for earnings calls, Board reviews, and investor engagements.
  • Partner closely with Investor Relations to support analyst and investor Q&A, Investor Day materials, and long-term value narratives.
  • Own development and review of MD&A for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), including non-GAAP measures and related disclosures.
  • Ensure alignment and compliance between management reporting, legal entity results, and external disclosures.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Insights
  • Set the vision for enterprise reporting, dashboards, and performance scorecards used by senior leadership.
  • Oversee development and evolution of executive dashboards, daily sales reporting, and enterprise metrics.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize reporting through automation, data visualization, and improved analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure financial insights are clear, actionable, and aligned to enterprise strategy and value drivers.
  • Governance, Controls & Financial Integrity
  • Provide executive oversight for financial governance related to SEC reporting, segment disclosures, non-GAAP measures, and allocation methodologies.
  • Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), performance metrics, and incentive tracking.
  • Review and approve Board and executive materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing Corporate FP&A and Reporting team.
  • Build strong succession plans and finance bench strength across the enterprise.
  • Partner with Divisional CFOs on finance talent development, capability building, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
