Requirements

  • 15+ years in a data driven, consumer-first marketing organization
  • Experience leading all aspects of lifecycle marketing and more in a fast growing, $1B+ revenue tech company
  • Demonstrated quantitative or analytical background (ability to know how to measure ROI, attribution etc. and partner with analytical teams)
  • Experience guiding and inspiring highly creative or design teams - copy, visuals etc. - to drive 'next generation' engagement
  • Experience with putting robust processes in place that allow a business to scale (e.g. intake processes, prioritization processes etc.)
  • Experience leading a total team of 25+ people across a range of levels and disciplines to grow, develop and make them better than they thought they could be
  • Operating ownership - not just strategy - of acquisition and lifecycle marketing…you know how different channels work and how to make the most of them and measure them
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively across a range of disciplines including tech, sales, operations and more to 'get it done' without excuse
  • Proven unapologetic in attention to detail. Ability to see inconsistencies in creative where others don't

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in large scale health care, fintech, payments, CPG, retail
  • Experience specifically with Adobe

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the Optum Financial Consumer business: B2C communications, B2B communications, sales enablement
  • Build and evolve communication channels using Adobe journeys
  • Manage a highly dynamic business in a high growth environment
  • Own the brand and story evolution to take it to the next level
  • Be directly responsible for member engagement, contributions and spend
  • Introduce new capabilities, e.g., A/B testing, ‘pod' marketing structure with agile methods, quantitative analysis and more
