About The Position

The Vice President of Consumer Lending at FAIRWINDS Credit Union is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the credit union's consumer loan portfolio. This position focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring asset quality, and implementing innovative product design and pricing strategies. The VP will supervise various operations, coordinate loan product delivery across multiple channels, and ensure compliance with regulations while promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Consumer Lending Management.
• Bachelor's degree or better.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Consumer Lending Operations, Dealer Services, and Insurance Services.
• Coordinates the delivery of consumer loan products across all member channels: branch system, digital, and phone.
• Responsible for annual consumer loan disbursements, interest income, non-interest income, and asset quality budgets.
• Prepares product and pricing analysis for Senior Management and ALCO.
• Manages, coordinates, and monitors loan sales activities and programs including sales of credit life, disability, GAP, and extended warranties.
• Collaborates with the Marketing Department to promote and increase loan activity through campaigns and new programs.
• Ensures compliance of all consumer loans with established policy and procedure guidelines, NCUA rules and regulations, and various Federal and State laws.
• Assists the Senior Vice President of Retail Lending with the establishment and communication of consumer loan goals and monitors performance relative to established goals.
• Serves as Assistant Credit Manager.
