Requirements

  • High profile university degree, preferably with major in business / finance / accounting
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Business acumen / commercial knowhow (e.g., P&L responsibility, comprehensive understanding of full value chain)
  • Analytical mindset (e.g., controlling, finance, mathematical background)
  • Exceptional communication skills to align and influence diverse stakeholders and present to large and senior audiences
  • Strategic thinking (e.g., consulting, or corporate strategy background)
  • Self-driven with experience in taking decisions in ambiguous situations

Responsibilities

  • Act as senior finance partner to the SBU leadership team and be the first point of contact for all finance-related question
  • Analyze & present monthly financial business development review incl. gap analysis
  • Ensure monthly forecasting is accurate and constantly improved
  • Drive and coordinate annual planning/investment process
  • Identify leading and lagging indicators for business performance
  • Hold teams accountable to deliver on commitments
  • Co-pilot the SBU towards hitting the commercial targets
  • Highlight risks and opportunities on sales, profitability, costs, and AR
  • Co-develop and execute action plan to address these risks and opportunities
  • Look for areas of synergy, improvement, and scalability to drive efficiencies, create impact, and increase speed
  • Spar on strategy & financials with global business head
  • Support, challenge, and influence regional business heads
  • Drive transformational initiatives to improve strategy, portfolio, and organization
  • Define, assess, and drive investment projects
  • Support M&A activity in cross-functional setup
  • Lead global and regional controllers and develop common agenda
  • Upskill the leadership team through ongoing coaching on financial and commercial steering and P&L fundamentals
