About The Position

At Baylor Scott & White, we prioritize the health of people, families, and communities, making us the largest nonprofit healthcare system in Texas. We encourage healthy living and uphold core values that emphasize service, continuous improvement, teamwork, and impactful actions. The Vice President Chief Nursing Officer (VP CNO) for the DFW Central Region plays a pivotal role in overseeing, planning, and directing nursing practice and clinical services across various patient care settings, including hospitals and clinics. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President, System Chief Nursing Officer, and is responsible for providing clinical leadership across all patient care settings within the assigned area of responsibility. The VP CNO will establish and communicate clinical strategic goals and objectives for nursing units or clinical areas, ensuring alignment with Baylor Scott & White Health's overall patient care goals. This role involves developing and implementing clinical protocols, nursing policies, and quality improvement initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency and high standards of care. The VP CNO will collaborate with operations and physician leadership to enhance patient outcomes, improve patient experience, and achieve service excellence in healthcare. In addition to overseeing nursing functions at Baylor University Medical Center, the VP CNO will also have oversight of the CNO from Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie.
