About The Position

ServiceNow is seeking a highly skilled individual to design, build, and run its global network, which includes the global backbone, peering infrastructure, and data center network fabric. The role involves leading an organization that implements a hybrid infrastructure that spans both physical and cloud offerings. The candidate will have engineering ownership for the delivery and operation of internally engineered software load balancers that serve all customers. Additionally, the individual will own the strategy for future physical network design, ensuring proper integration of network services to Kubernetes-based services, and deploying future software-defined networking services. The role also requires developing and maintaining KPI-based performance goals and service uptime requirements for all network services, as well as defining a next-generation network that can adapt to the dynamic requirements of the business.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Deep technical knowledge to represent up and down the stack to customers pre/post sales.
  • Experience with global network connectivity dynamics including peering and international backbone operations.
  • Ability to run a crisis bridge and direct problem-solving efforts effectively.
  • Proven experience in evaluating and uplifting teams as needed.
  • Experience leading a 130 person global organization spanning design/build/run for engineering.
  • Deep experience in hyperscale network concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience across the network stack (routing, switching, security, load balancing).
  • A mix of technical acumen and leadership skillset.
