About The Position

This executive role offers the opportunity to define and lead a global business development and partnerships strategy within a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment. As VP, Business Development, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, finance, product, and partnerships, driving high-impact deals that accelerate growth and market expansion. You will own the full partnership lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and integrating complex agreements. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will influence long-term strategic direction while delivering measurable commercial outcomes. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with strong executive presence, deep market insight, and a passion for building scalable growth engines. The environment is fully remote, highly collaborative, and global in scope.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate strategy, ideally within crypto or high-growth fintech environments
  • Prior experience in product management, management consulting, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate strategy strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise across the full partnership lifecycle, from strategy through negotiation and post-deal integration
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and scaling high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to identify high-leverage opportunities and anticipate industry shifts
  • Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling and evaluation of complex partnership economics
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and partners
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams in a global context
  • Passion for financial markets and the crypto ecosystem; strong industry network is a plus
  • Familiarity with global financial regulations and international business operations is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global business development and partnership strategy in close collaboration with executive leadership
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnerships that expand product reach, unlock new revenue streams, and accelerate go-to-market initiatives
  • Oversee the full partnership lifecycle, including market mapping, target assessment, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and integration planning
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing business development team, fostering a results-driven and accountable culture
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to execute complex initiatives
  • Develop robust business cases, financial models, and deal analyses to support strategic and commercial decision-making
  • Present clear, concise deal rationales and recommendations to senior leadership, driving alignment and timely decisions
  • Maintain a strong external network across crypto, fintech, and traditional financial services, staying ahead of market, regulatory, and competitive trends
