The Vice President of Business Development at Paradigm Healthcare plays a crucial role in enhancing revenue through increased admissions and census at our centers. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain and grow overall volume in core programs while also creating new programs to broaden the customer base and improve our reach in the medical community. The VP will identify and pursue opportunities consistent with established budgets, goals, and objectives, making recommendations to adjust these as necessary. This role requires close collaboration with facility leadership and provides leadership to the Regional Directors of Care Transitions and the Admission Directors. The VP of Business Development will engage in face-to-face interactions with internal teams, referral sources, and customers, necessitating extensive travel. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining processes for tracking referrals, developing census budgets per facility, maximizing admissions in accordance with sales plans, and maintaining relationships with key referral sources and insurance carriers. The VP will also oversee the admissions process, mentor team members, and ensure effective referral management activities. This position requires a commitment to customer service excellence and advancing the quality of clinical services, utilizing a collaborative management approach to achieve objectives. In addition to these responsibilities, the VP will conduct community competitive analysis, oversee marketing expenses, and plan promotional events to enhance community awareness of the company's services. The role demands industry-specific experience in operations and business development, along with a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory standards. The VP will also be responsible for developing and managing marketing reports and ensuring that marketing processes are conducted consistently and effectively.
