TOGETHER WE WIN® THE OPPORTUNITY The VP, Business Development Officer will be an officer of the Deposit Solutions Group—a team of experienced bankers dedicated exclusively to serving the depository and cash management needs of customers across the country. A VP, Business Development Officer is responsible for various aspects of new business development and servicing the banking needs of portfolio clients. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience and judgement in related areas to plan and accomplish goals
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Creativity, sales development and implementation
  • Requires detailed knowledge of cash management services and depository products

Responsibilities

  • Work with designated lending groups to uncover new cash management and deposit opportunities from borrowers.
  • Cross sell and promote Pacific Western Bank products and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase portfolio growth from current business customers.
  • Create detailed proposals, including account analysis performance, and present to prospective clients.
  • Work as a team to accomplish annual deposit growth goals while providing outstanding customer service to client base.
  • Lead face-to-face meetings with prospects and clients, which will include travel.
  • Coordinate with Account Associates to establish new account relationships, ensure a smooth transition for customers, and service client's future cash management needs.
  • Responsible for initial relationship contact and follow-up to close deals and maintain relationship.
