Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the business banking market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
  • General knowledge of financial products and services for business clients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the ability to present financial information accurately.
  • Ability to utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision making.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Skill in banking systems and software.
  • Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or job-related field, or commensurate work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business banking sales and client relations, or related sales and relationship management experience in a banking or financial environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in credit analysis and risk assessment, or related experience in a financial institution.
  • NMLS, or successful completion of NMLS process within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages business relationships.
  • Learns the unique needs of customers and provides appropriate financial solutions to fit individual circumstances and resolve issues.
  • Drives loan production and deposit growth by proactively identifying opportunities and cross-selling Bank products and services.
  • Identifies, pursues, and closes sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing and client satisfaction.
  • Represents the Bank in the community through active participation in professional organizations and community events.
  • Mentors team, providing guidance on relationship development and credit fundamentals.
  • Collaborate with Business Banking leadership to contribute to market strategy, portfolio performance, and competitive positioning.
  • Engage in continuous portfolio optimization by regularly reviewing client performance, credit quality, and market conditions, while proactively managing risk exposure to ensure balanced growth profitability and regulatory compliance.
