About The Position
Banesco USA is seeking a Relationship Manager for our Business & Professional unit. This position is responsible for business development activities for the generation of deposits and loans for their portfolio while expanding the current and new client base. The Relationship Manager will analyze new and existing client account activities to determine cross-selling opportunities to expand and retain the clients' business. They will participate in community and business functions/groups/associations to ensure a positive image for the bank within the region's marketplace and establish referral contacts within the community. Additionally, the role involves performing a pre-qualification assessment and analysis of the financial condition and risk of loan requests, gathering and analyzing information necessary to present financing requests to Management and/or Loan Committee for approval, and coordinating the process of approved loans. The Relationship Manager will also monitor the loan portfolio to ensure safety and soundness and take necessary actions to remedy any deficiencies.
