Since its launch in 2008 by Urban One, iONE Digital’s news, entertainment, video, and lifestyle content has driven its growth, including brands like Cassius, HelloBeautiful, MadameNoire, Bossip, NewsOne, GlobalGrind, HipHopWired, BlackAmericaWeb, Elev8, BlackPlanet, The Fumble, Hollyscoop, and Nerdwire. One X Studios is the in-house branded content and production division of Urban One, developing culturally rich, purpose-driven content. This leader, reporting directly to the Co-Chief Revenue Officers and sitting within the Sales organization, will ensure advertisers, agencies, and brand partners clearly understand Urban One’s scale, cultural authority, differentiated platforms, proprietary research capabilities, tentpole events, talent, and integrated solutions. This role involves developing and executing B2B communications strategies that directly impact revenue, driving awareness, demand, and marketplace credibility across industry, trade, business, and select consumer channels. It operates at the intersection of Sales, Integrated Marketing, Research, Content & Programming, Audio, TV, Digital, and Executive Leadership, translating the company’s strongest commercial narratives into consistent marketplace visibility.
