About The Position

Responsible for the efficient operations of a full-service branch office. Directs the overall sales initiative of the branch, assumes a proactive role in customer interaction and service to include meeting with customers, discussing their specific banking needs. Make certain that all established policies, procedures and security measures are followed. Responsibilities also include hiring, supervising and training staff accordingly. Ensures that the customers are serviced in a prompt and professional manner. Consistently meet and exceed profit, loan, deposit, fee and other goals as defined by Management. Responsible for reviewing loan applicants and analyzing financial condition, credit and collateral. Approves and processes loans within lending limits. Seeks approval for loan requests that exceed individual loan authority. Assist customers with their new account needs. This will include checking, savings, certificates, IRA's, etc. Understand the various products, including electronic products the bank offers and is able to explain the value of those products to customers. Responsible for deepening customer relationships with existing customers and help attract prospects to the bank. This will be accomplished through understanding the full account relationships with customers and making sales calls to those customers to solicit additional product sales. Oversee the administrative aspects of the branch including but not limited to the completion of various audits and reports, monitoring of accounts, management of cash items, controlling of over/short by staff and overall compliance. Ensure that regular staff meetings occur and that the staff is informed. Communicates job expectations and evaluates staff performances against those expectations on a constant basis providing continual coaching, guidance, and counseling. Active involvement in community and civic organizations, as appropriate, to represent the bank in the community. The Branch Manager will assure that the properties and facilities are kept in accordance with bank standards for appearance, cleanliness and safety. The branch manager will be responsible for overall branch security and will make certain all employees are aware of the disaster recovery process for the branch.
