Overview The VP; Branch Manager in the Orlando Branch is responsible for managing the operations of the branch with the assistance of an Operations Officer, overseeing the lending and deposit gatherings for the branch, helping and guiding Relationship Managers with managing their own loan portfolio. Responsibilities Drive growth & profitability. Oversee lending and deposit gathering, generate branch profitability through new business development, and expand revenues from existing clients via account additions and cross‑sell of bank services. Sell & build relationships. Proactively profile clients to identify needs and position appropriate bank products, establishing productive deposit and lending relationships. Own portfolio health. Maintain a service loan portfolio; minimize loan/non‑loan/miscellaneous losses; and manage controllable expenses. Credit decisioning. Interview loan applicants, render credit decisions within authority, and ensure complete, accurate documentation. Account onboarding. Interview new‑account prospects to gather required information and open personal/business accounts with proper documentation. KYC / BSA/AML. Complete KYC forms in X‑Pert AML applications and comply with all CIP and BSA/AML requirements. Payments oversight. Approve/decline checks for overdraft and uncollected funds within designated limits; review and approve branch and portfolio O/D and Uncollected positions. Cash & wires control. Review cash transactions; review/approve all outgoing wire transfers in conjunction with the Operations Officer, following Bank policy. Customer experience. Monitor customer comments, respond appropriately, correct deficiencies, and capitalize on opportunities. Lead the team. Align staff priorities/objectives with Bank goals, communicate effectively, and coach officers/employees’ professional development. Coordinate delivery of quality customer service, counsel employees on service performance, and promote a participative, high‑engagement environment. Research and resolve issues arising from branch operations; actively manage your own portfolio customers. Lead by example; train, motivate, and supervise staff to achieve individual and branch goals. Conduct follow‑up on audit findings; resolve customer complaints; prepare monthly branch reports for the Regional Manager. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state law and regulations at all times.
