About The Position

OEC partners with many of the world’s largest manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, shops and repairers, and service providers, giving our customers access to a comprehensive network and a streamlined workflow. About the Role OEC is seeking a strategic and growth-focused executive to lead our Mechanical Parts Marketplace business, including PartsTech, RepairLink, and related products representing nearly $100M in revenue. This leader will shape product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy to drive strong double-digit growth across the automotive aftermarket. You will lead a high-performing product organization, deliver compelling marketplace experiences for repair shops and suppliers, and strengthen value across our network of customers, distributors, and partners. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines business strategy, product innovation, and market expansion, ideal for a leader who thrives in complex marketplace and technology-driven environments.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • 5+ years leading product management teams with proven success driving measurable business outcomes
  • Track record of delivering strong revenue growth in software, SaaS, marketplace, or adjacent technology-driven businesses
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, fast-evolving environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive aftermarket, marketplace software, or B2B eCommerce environments such as:
  • Parts suppliers or distributors
  • OEM wholesale or DIFM channels
  • Marketplace or multi-sided platforms (automotive or adjacent industries)
  • Experience serving mechanical repair shop customers and understanding their workflows and needs
  • M&A and integration experience involving products, teams, or businesses
  • Experience working with complex product catalogs in eCommerce environments
  • Experience applying AI/ML or advanced technologies to product development or data-driven solutions

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across all levels internally and externally

Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategy & Growth
  • Define and evolve the Mechanical Parts Marketplace strategy across PartsTech and RepairLink
  • Deliver differentiated product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies that capture growth in the DIFM (Do-It-For-Me) channel
  • Drive sustained revenue growth while strengthening network value for shops, suppliers, and distributors
  • Develop business cases and growth strategies for new initiatives, partnerships, and investments
  • Support pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies aligned to market opportunities
  • Lead Product & Organizational Excellence
  • Lead and develop a team of 10–12 product leaders and individual contributors
  • Establish clear objectives, priorities, and success metrics
  • Drive alignment across engineering, sales, customer success, operations, and leadership
  • Build talent strategies that attract, develop, and retain high-performing product teams
  • Foster an engaging, accountable, and growth-oriented culture
  • Strengthen Market Leadership
  • Maintain deep understanding of automotive OEM and aftermarket dynamics, marketplace trends, and competitive landscape
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape company and product line strategies
  • Represent the Mechanical Parts Marketplace in strategic planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions
  • Lead business development initiatives and support M&A due diligence and integration
  • Provide strategic input on agreements with suppliers, distributors, and OEM partners
  • Advance Technology & Innovation
  • Champion modern, consumer-grade user experiences within complex B2B marketplace environments
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML and generative AI to improve product outcomes and team productivity
  • Enhance catalog, search, and data strategies to improve customer experience and operational performance
