About The Position

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years working in a healthcare setting with volunteer experience.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school or equivalent years of experience.
• Previous experience leading a volunteer program.
• Knowledge of current policies and requirements in a healthcare volunteer program.

• Demonstrated project management across multiple geographic locations.
• 5 years leading a robust volunteer program within a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Business tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Deploy a robust volunteer program at specified facilities.
• Recruit, onboard, coordinate, train, screen, place, schedule, and evaluate performance of volunteers.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs for volunteers within the hospital.
• Advise and consult with administration, department heads, supervisors, and employees on volunteer management.
• Assist the Marketing Department in community outreach and represent the hospital at community events.
