Over 800 volunteers currently serve the region to amplify the New England Donor Services’ mission to save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation. Volunteers attend events, share their empowering stories, find local opportunities to make an impact and, ultimately, help to increase the number of registered donors. The NEDS Volunteer Program is responsible for recruiting, training and retaining a robust group of dedicated individuals, many with personal connections to the cause. Under the supervision of the Volunteer Services Manager, the Volunteer Services Coordinator will assist with program growth and expansion by supporting recruitment, training, scheduling and inventory management. This newly created position will also serve as the primary contact for volunteer activities, event coordination and meetings. This position will work closely with other managers, directors and departments to ensure consistency of NEDS’ goals and strategies.
