Nearly all patients and families enjoy a tail-wagging visit from a loveable four-legged friends. Pets must be up to date on all vaccinations and have a written statement from a veterinarian recommending them for our HosPET program. We are looking for calming animals that will bring joy and put people at ease! Constellation Health Services’ Hospice program is looking for volunteers to visit patients who have terminal illnesses. Make a difference in your community, be part of the hospice team, and have a flexible volunteer schedule. A few hours a week can make a big difference to someone nearing the end of life! Volunteers may engage in conversation, read to a patient, look at pictures together, share music or videos on their phones, provide a compassionate presence, or other activities.
