The position is for an Assistant to the Head Coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III sports program. Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in day to day operations of the team and program
- Assist in practice planning
- Assist in positional instruction as defined by the head coach
- Evaluate post practice and game situations
- Assist in recruiting
- Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Coaching experience of at least 3 years required
- Bachelor's degree required
Nice-to-haves
- Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years required
- Master's degree preferred
- Strong work ethic and the desire to work in a Division III environment
