This is a VOLUNTEER (non-paid) position beginning in December. Volunteers that can commit to 12+ days will receive a FREE SEASON PASS! Requirements

No prior experience is necessary.
An outgoing personality and a desire to help people are the most important characteristics for a mountain host.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Greets arriving and departing guests in the traffic circle and in the base lodge, assisting with unloading gear and ensuring a smooth flow of arriving traffic
Answers guest questions and concerns, directing them to the right location
Assists front facing departments in diverse areas to best help customer flow
Other customer service-oriented tasks as assigned
On snow tasks (Lift riding with kids 5 & under, trail checks, quick mtn tours, and on hill trash removal) once on snow training course is completed.
Provides mountain information, assists guests while skiing or snowboarding, and engages guests in conversation during lift rides
Assists with special events as needed
Assists Ski & Ride with helping youth in programs ride the lift
Provide support with parking & traffic management
