The City of Irvine is seeking an intern to assist staff in the day-to-day activities within the Communications & Engagement Department. Students or recent graduates selected for the position perform a range of duties from very basic activities to those requiring higher skill levels and professional expertise. Applicants will have the opportunity to play a role in all areas of the department and assist with marketing and outreach to the City of Irvine community. This internship is unpaid. Through this internship, the student or graduate will be able to understand how a government agency shares information with its residents, visitors, and businesses in order to serve all of the needs in our community. Minimum commitment of 12 - 15 hours per week for two or more months.
