About The Position

Tri-CAP is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven Volunteer Driver Manager to join our team! If you are passionate about serving your community, supporting others, and leading with purpose, we want to meet you. About the Role As the Volunteer Driver Manager, you will coordinate, support, and inspire our team of employees and volunteer drivers who help community members access essential services. This role requires a balance of leadership, strategy, and heart.

Requirements

  • Analytical & a Critical Thinker – able to assess challenges, interpret data, develop and drive a budget, and make informed decisions.
  • A Strong Problem Solver – ready to find creative solutions in a fast-changing environment.
  • Growth-Minded – embraces continuous improvement and encourages the same in others while actively looking for ways to grow and develop the Volunteer Driver program.
  • A Servant Leader – leads by example, supports employees and volunteers with compassion, and can have honest, motivating conversations.
  • Adaptable & Change-Ready – comfortable navigating shifting priorities and helping others do the same.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced (Preferred) – experience in volunteer management, transportation coordination, or leadership is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person who brings the right mindset and drive.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and support volunteer drivers

  • Oversee scheduling and program operations
  • Communicate with clients, staff, and volunteers
  • Problem-solve daily operational challenges
  • Track performance, identify trends, and implement improvements
  • Serve as a trusted leader who motivates and empowers others
