We are seeking an experienced leader with interpersonal skills, volunteer leadership background and trailwork / outdoor recreation background to work as a Volunteer Crew Leader across all of AMC’s trail volunteer programs. Although this position works closely with the North Country Trails Volunteer Programs Supervisor, this is a very autonomous position, requiring a high level of responsibility, sound decision making, and proactive communication. This position is responsible for leading days of trail stewardship with a variety of groups, including youth and adults, and while based in NH, this position travels regularly to sites in MA, NH and ME. This is an extended seasonal position running from early March 2026 to the end of October 2026 with adaptability around start and end dates including part-time remote work initially with goal of on-site at the beginning of May 2026.
