Volunteer CoordinatorWhat You Must Have: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Experience in recruitment & management of volunteers, preferred Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the IDG and the lay and professional publicWorking knowledge of volunteer program resources Demonstrates good communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills Experience with EMR softwareCurrent driver's license, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance Full Time Employee Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental & Vision insurance Paid Time Off Paid holidays 401k with up to 4% employer matchingTuition reimbursement Company car for qualifying individuals Mileage reimbursement What You Will Do: Recruitment of new volunteers Training new volunteers on hospice philosophy, regulations, and job duties Provides volunteers per the Hospice patient's Plan of CareDemonstrates knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to the recruitment, training & retention of volunteersDevelops the volunteer program through collaboration with the IDG and administration personnelEstablishes a public relations program to foster good working relations with the volunteers & the community Timely submission of all documentation Performance of other duties as required Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
