The Volunteer Coordinator has overall responsibility for the Hospice’s Volunteer Program. Volunteers must be used in day-to-day administrative and/or direct patient care roles that meets the needs of the patient and family/caregivers. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, retaining, and supervising volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and reporting volunteer activities to meet regulatory requirements and demonstrate quality of care. The Volunteer Coordinator reports to the Hospice Administrator.
