Volunteer Coordinator - Samaritan Hospital - FT Days Position Summary: Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all Volunteer Services activities for designated campuses within SPHP's OneAcute Care. Directly responsible for the active recruitment of volunteers to serve the needs of the SPHP One Acute Care campuses under your direction. Work closely with the Director of Volunteer Services to implement a streamlined onboarding process for all new volunteers. This will include all aspects of the onboarding process, utilizing a newly integrated approach to the recruitment of volunteers, the application process, the interviewing process, the health assessment requirements, the orientation of all volunteers, the credentialing/badging process, the confidentiality statement and any other needs relating to volunteer support to serve SPHP OneAcute Care campus. Serve as the primary contact for all volunteers as it relates to training, placement, supervision and recognition of all volunteer personnel. Directly oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of volunteer services. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Human Services or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Requirements: 1 - 3 years of experience in the development and implementation of volunteer services, program planning and communications. Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills and relationship development required. Pay range: $22.25-$30.75 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
