About The Position
2025-2026 School Year Location: Berg Middle School or Newton High School Position: Volunteer Athletic Coach Start Date: At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics Availability : At the discretion of the NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics Applicants must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in order to coach for our District. Process of Volunteer Coach Approval: NCSD Director of Activities and Athletics will review applicants and set up interviews for available positions Criminal History Background check will take place Upon background check approval - Volunteer Coaches must also provide a copy of the following documents to Human Resources: Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate Transcripts from Coaching Classes Driver License Please attach a Cover Letter to your application addressed to Laura Selover, Director of Human Resources
