About The Position
The part-time Volunteer Associate supports GBFB's mission to end hunger here by supervising volunteer shifts and contributing to the volunteers' positive experience. They welcome volunteers, lead training, and assist volunteers in inspecting, sorting and repacking food products. As part of the Community Engagement Team, the Volunteer Associate provides a high level of customer service in responding to volunteer inquiries. They are part of a rotating schedule to support the role of project supervisor(s) and front desk receptionist during Saturday volunteer shifts.
